U14s County Champs Again!

On the 18th of March, two U14 rugby teams gathered from Loughborough Grammar
School and Mount Grace, to battle it out for the prestigious County title at Loughborough
Rugby Club. For the first minutes after the 3:30 kick-off, the teams were tight until LGS's centre, Will, broke through to score. This was continued with a successful conversion from the fly-half, Max, to put Loughborough 7 points ahead. The opposing side, however, did not give up and managed to hold LGS up for 10 minutes until the King of Pace, winger Joe managed to break down the wing. Afterwards, more tries came flowing in from Joe and Will, the two tanks of the team, despite endeavoured attempts from Mount Grace to defend. With excellent leadership from captain, Ollie, the Loughborough team managed to seal a 36-0 win and with it the county title. Congratulations to the rugby team for the win!
